Stargate (1994)

I'm currently taking an archaeology in film course, and this is the second movie on our list (the first being Indiana Jones obviously...). The film felt longer than 2h10m and kind of dragged in places, but the costumes were beautiful and WHO WAS GOING TO TELL ME JAMES SPADER WAS HOT ???? HUH???
You're seriously going to give me an autistic linguist who has a dweeb personality and little slutty glasses and long hair and expect me NOT to fall in love with him? Thats the original Milo Thatch. Dr Daniel Jackson is my babygirl Milo Thatch.

American Gods (1994)
written by Neil Gaiman

If I could recommend one book I would recommend American Gods. Holy Shit. The edition that I have is a recently published one so it has a lot of extra content and scenes that weren't included in the first edition, and I could not pick a single thing to take out of this 700+ page beast. I will say, the book is kind of slow - I've seen it described a lot as 'meandering' - and there are a lot of parts that feel irrelevant as you read them - although always intersting - but its so worth it to get to the end and have everything fall into place.
Neil Gaiman never fails to make me cry, and this is was no exception.
